Hi all,

So I am interested in getting an 8ta contract 1 deal, it is R90 a month but under the plan details it says the following:

Chargeable Value Added Services
Caller line identity: R8.50
Itemized billing: R17.00

So will I be paying that R90 + the chargeable services every month making it R115.50 a month. Or is there a way to avoid paying those chargeable services?

If I do not use the sim card at all, will they still charge me for the services or if I only make or only receive calls will they charge me for that?

Thanks

How do I know whether it will be compulsory or not?

That is what I am trying to figure out. The main reason I need this contract is due to the fact my phone got stolen yesterday and currently cannot afford the retail price of a decent phone.
It works out cheaper getting this contract paying the R90 / R115 a month than the retail value of the phone as well.

So I will hardly use the free minutes etc. on the sim - although if I save myself R25 a month by not using the sim at all I will do so.
