8ta Data Coverage in Gauteng

I am ready to wither upgrade my current Vodacom data contract to the R199 3Gb promotion, or just cancel it and go with the 8ta 10Gb R199 deal. My question to all those 8ta users...

What is the general conception around coverage (and resulting download/upload speeds) in Gauteng? I have checked the coverage map and it looks like I will have coverage. I live in Pretoria and work as a consultant around the Bryanston area. Also do some work in both Pta and Jhb CBD's.

Can someone please tell me if 8ta is worth it from a coverage perspective?

You can get a 8ta prepaid simcard and load it with airtime and use another modem to test it at all the places you are going to.

I find the coverage good around CBD's - I have tested it in Bryanston and dont seem to have a problem.

Couldnt tell you about PTA though - but if memory serves me correct they offer a 7-day return if you are unhappy with the coverage.

I have two contracts with them 1 on my wifes ipad and one we use on a mobile router. I am generally happy with the price that I am paying, the data alotment and the coverage.

Its good - not excellent just yet
