8ta speeds in Centurion

Hi All

I am experiencing horrific speeds in Centurion over the last week or so. At night (around 8), I will be lucky if I hit 1MBps (on the 21MBps 8ta Modem).

What's up 8ta?

Anybody else experiencing problems in Centurion?
 
Same thing here in Midrand and Randburg. Started around a month ago. Even during mid month - not at the end of the month when everyone wants to finish their bundle. It various quite a bit, bad speeds for an entire night, next day is fine and back to square one the following day. My 10gig is now worthless as my downloads keep breaking...

Stay in Eco Park experiencing the same problem, in the last week or so im lucky if i get 0.5Mps
 
Does anybody know if I can out of my contract because of this? I mean this is useless as it is now.

I am also experiencing terrible speeds this whole week. I sent an email with all the information required.
 
this is quite worrying, i wanted to sign a 10gb contract with 8ta tomorrow, im also in Centurion.....im having my doubts now. Maybe the towers are congested....hopefully capacity planning was done

Its really the best deal at R199 p/m for 10gb at this stage, hopefully they can sort this out fast

You can maybe put signing your contract on hold and try with a prepaid deal in the mean time to test until next month?

i have a 7mb dongle at this stage so wont be able to test it on the 21mb network but will give prepaid a shot
