8ta / Telkom Mobile problems

Just let every1 in the loop 8ta did not inform any 1 but they having problems because the of the abuse of downloads and to top it of without telling any 1 they decided to now give any 1 who their network 5Gig of data and if u use it up you will be trottled down to 10Kbps, now my question is this they claim they don't trottle on data but yet their they went and done it with out informing any 1 goes to show you can't trust the service providers they all talk the talk but when it comes to holding their promises no one really keeps their word they all in it for the money service means nothing to them and yet we pay to keep the guys who "so called engineers in a JOB and for what" a crap service
 
1 only but the people who work in the call centre stuffed up because their is no jameel and their never was Nivash is my wife she is a second contact incase they don't get hold of me
 
1. Please remove all those email addresses and numbers from public view.

2. Please please please improve your grammar. The pain.
 
Per the other thread, while 3G is bad in the area for all cellular service providers, LTE and 4G is very good. I would recommend Afrihost for a fixed MTN LTE service. If you're on contract though, I guess you're stuck for now. I feel your pain.
 
Azimuth, that's an excellent idea, I will try LTE and see if there's any signal.

My Cell (C) service is working quite well now, though.
 
Just to put it out there but 800m down the road at Dennehof / Weirdevalley the 3G is full signal and really quick.

The area around the old Village Walk is a dead spot of note. I'm also battling with voice calls a lot. That point where Telkom 3G is one bar and then there's a see saw between MTN roaming and Telkom Edge. Makes voice calls painful. Constant failed calls or when people call me, I'm not available on the network.

Purchased a Lte Cpe B593(unlocked).I am having difficulty connecting on the 8ta network.The router works well on other networks.Telkom techs tried assisting me but failed.Modem not detecting on 8ta network.I assume Telkom has tweaked something on their network not to detect any third party modems.
Please assist .
 
Back when I still had amazing signal, I tried the 8ta sim in a Voda 9.6mbps stick, and an MTN 19.2 HDPA+ stick, and neither worked at all.
 
That's odd, that is the same model that Telkom issues though I hear they're also issuing the B593s-82 now as well. Where does the router come from?
