Hi guys,

My motherboard (Asus M2NPV-MX) has a single PCI-E 1.0 slot. It seems that the new GeForce 9600GT is PCI-E 2.0 compatible and designed for the "Next generation of PCI architecture". Will this card still be able to work properly in a PCI-E 1.0 slot, or do I need to upgrade my motherboard?

Thanks,
GBM

It will work just fine. No need to upgrade anything ;)

Hi i have a new Hp proliant G5 server.... and the mboard has the following expansion slot specs.

Slot 1: PCI 32-bit/33MHz at 3.3V
Slot 2: PCI-Express x8 connector with x1 link
Slot 3: PCI-Express x8 connector with x1 link
Slot 4: PCI-Express x8 connector with x8 link

Can u recommend a Graphics card to install ???

Thanks

I used to have an ATI 1050 in mine (DL320) G5, but any PCI-E card should work....

Before we can recommend a card, you need to specify a budget and what you'll be using it for.
