That is a good power supply you have. Get a 6850 or 6870.

I wanted to buy my pc from PCInt (assembled), but due to their PSUs, and lack of other components to choose from, I will be going with RebelTech.

The 6950 and 6970 sound very nice,but my budget is R2000(6850 and maybe new PSU) and if I take the 6950, I would also have to upgrade my PSU(im borrowing my friends CX500)
I have a huntkey 550w greenpower in the closet(my friend uses a huntkey 550w greenpower with his 5770, he says it runs smoothly)or must I buy the CX500 from my other friend to power the 6850.

You don't need a new PSU if you're gonna run a single-card setup.
500W is enough for single card.
