Well if you're willing to pay for getting your series fix "on time" , i use this : http://www.3click.tv . I've seen the latest episode like monday when it aired in the US. This is how i want to watch tv, no searching no struggling to find stuff, it's just there and click play.
It airs on Sunday - I also saw it on Monday
Out of interest, how does the site work - its blocked here at work - is it streaming or can you download?
Also - if its streaming - what connection do you have?

It's streaming, in the browser, but you can capture it to .MP4/.FLV with any of these "downloader" plugins [just like you'd download a youtube video] . I have a 4MB line, but the quality of the shows are not HD , it's SD . This will obviously be an issue for alot of people that wants it in HD , but the lower quality also means i can stream it without having to buffer at all. It is also very easy on the bandwidth...
As for the sunday thing, let's just say, Sunday Evening 9pm in the USA = Monday for us

Well $20 a month [R140] vs. R600 per month for DSTV , i happily pay $20 and watch any series and any episode i want. Each to their own i suppose. I don't think that is expensive considering there's no limits.

We can all agree that DSTV is a rip-off, but you would still need a fairly high speed internet connection (and high cap or unshaped uncapped), especially for HD content. I'd rather pay $10 p/m on a Usenet subscription, and be able to get more than just TV episodes.
Not comparing it to DSTV... I mean I'd rather wait a day and get it from newsgroups....
