"A Game of Thrones" discussion thread

Still no word on the release date for TWOW?

Nope...he's busy with it but he does take very long to finish a book. Who knows how long the next one will take after TWOW. Series will more than likely catch up with him before he gets there..

as long as he doesn't peg before finishing all the books.

I thought I heard that he has already given the high level synopsis of the conclusion to the powers that be, so that in the event of his untimely and unwanted departure, the end will be known.

Nope. I think that TWOW will very likely come out late next year. GRRM writes very, very slowly :( I believe that the long wait will be worth it :D There are too many interesting major and minor plot threads that need to be nicely wrapped up as the series's getting close to the end.

I don't think everything will be wrapped up in two books. There's just too much **** happening all at once unless Gurm decides to use to use the "kill everyone" device on a larger scale than before. I also think that Dany will never cross the sea with the dragons.

Didn't GRRM say the next two books will be tombs at no less than 1500 pages each?

Those who read the books have no other reason than that to watch the show. Actually the books nudity is more intense

Yeah :D Man, I fee like reading the books all over again :D

S4 is going to be the best season of the series! :D It will contain most of the best parts of the best book, A Storm of Swords, of the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

For those who have read the books will know what this means
