"A Game of Thrones" discussion thread

wow.. 10/10

Really loving this story

The fantasy world feels real.
Rounded characters.
So far everything feels like a buildup for something epic about to happen.
Real sense of danger
While the good characters are not all good, there has never been characters in a story I love to hate as much.

Can only imagine how good the books must be.

This is one thread I dont wanna read on a Monday, incase there are spoilers, haha, GOT is a massive part of our monday night viewing schedule :D
 
Yeh...read that, went with the Immerse - its already sitting at home waiting to be watched :(
 
Looks like my Sickbeard already downloaded Game.of.Thrones.S01E09.720p.HDTV.CRF.x264-IMMERSE, though seemse it was nuked too.

But then again, who cares, at least this one's sound is not out of sync!
 
They're going on about it being nuked because of CRF.... and not adhering to some rules... personally - I don't give a ****.
 
@Tinuva - how does sickbeard work when it comes to deciding which episode to download? Does it ever download double?

There is a setting called: Download Propers (Replace original download with "Proper/Repack" if nuked?)

So if you downloaded a bad ep and another come out with "proper" or "repack" in the name, it deletes the original downloaded file and replace it with the new one after its downloaded. That is if you have that turned on, which I had off for a while, but seems an update turned it on again.

The default search rate is set to every 60minutes, so if both nuked and proper get released within that 60min window, it will skip the nuked one and do the proper 1st time around, if only 1 then it 1st download that, then the proper later as it gets released.
 
Ah ok - and how does it decide which releases to use? e.g. IMMERSE or CTU?

My goodness just finished watching , excellent way of handling the whole episode.

Nothing wrong with Immerse release as they were trying the CBR due to Dimension's suggestions. Video Bitrate was 3561kbps and was decent.

Otherwise, look forward to next weeks episode.

If you don't read books, how does one force oneself lol, i would like to know what we missed and what is coming :)
