So it's rolling around to that time of the year where for a lot of us, we have to start thinking about breaking the bank buying presents for all and sundry. I say we, but I don't fall into this category. However, for one or many reasons, I've never spoilt myself. So I decided that this year would be different. As an avid long distance runner, I've never had a decent watch so I decided that with a busy calendar of races next year, I thought I'd remedy the situation.

My present: A Garmin Forerunner 235

So are any of you going to spoil yourselves this year for a change? What's on your horizon?

I honestly don't need anything.

But if I had to spoil myself it will be with a Garmin Vivoactive watch and perhaps some Under Armour clothing. But it will have to be on special. Can't see myself paying full price for UA no matter how bloody nice their stuff is.

X Box One X - already pre-ordered.
New wheels for my mountain bike - been considering an upgrade for a while and then I had a crash and wrecked the back one. So I figured I might as well do the upgrade now rather than replacing it and then upgrading in a few months.

Revell 1/32nd FW190A-8 with all the after market Resin and PE you can throw at it.
Vanderlinden Production 516 1/20th FW 190 Cockpit.

Just bought a DJI Spark.

Replacing my phone.

And waiting for stock for some work equipment that I'm excited about.

Oh and also a trip to Thailand in January for the fiancée and I.

Very nice! Please post pics of the final result. My Tirpitz model has been sitting for nearly a year now and still needs to be painted (and The Bismarck still sits in her box, waiting to be assembled). I will get to it during my truncated leave period.

You better take the Spark to Thailand!

I must add.

If a Tamron or Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 is going to be available on a killer black Friday deal I will abuse the credit card in a heart beat.

I should get a decent bonus this month, and the wife has even given me permission to spoil myself!
But pure logic prevents me from buying anything I don't NEED. Sad I know....

Will do, but I dont get much bench time, so dont hold your breath. Still finishing up a Tamiya 1/48 Beaufighter in SAAF colours.
