A ringtone for school

I'm of a similar age and couldnt hear it but strangely after a trip to the ENT specialist for my allergies (and some kick-butt meds) I can hear it.
 
i am sitting in the room at the back of the house and my daughter is in the kitchen and i crank up the speakers and play the ringtone and she starts shouting at me.
 
sorry i brought it back to life as it was linked to a new one of today. sorry.

Careful, seriously, that may be a bit traumatic on her physically. I can hear (well, could a year or whenever ago) that tone, and it's reminiscent of how flashing/low buzzing lights (+ the sort of flashing that make epileptics have a seizure) make me feel extremely ill. Please, it is not just an unpleasant sound; it is a physically nauseating, brain penetrating wave.

In the UK devices that emit sounds like this have been used to disperse 'kids' in places where they gather and are not welcome. I believe these devices are illegal or about to be made illegal.

Science has tended to neglect doing much sciency kind of things with sound, and we are only now breaking open it's possibilities. Like creating light using sound. Or the innovative americans, who have developed crowd control devices that basically using a shockwave/wave of force of sound to impose physical force at a distance.

in the UK they play it where they dont want youths congregating

the noise drives them crazy

wonder if you could speak words at this frequency

only people 25 and under could hear it:D

It's not That bad. I can hear it, doesnt 'do' anyting to me. What does do something to me is Black Eyed Peas' song, Bebot. Heard it the first time at a 48Hour LAN...few hundred times. I still feel sick when I hear that song . . . :sick:

Could they not have made a tune out of it at least? It's just one really high long note.
 
i will upload it my phone and when the youngster play their loud music on their phones i will put that one on and chase them away. i wonder if there is one for dogs like a silent whistle or something.
 
lol, I'm 35 and can't hear a thing, but my 11 year old daughter can hear it as clear as a bell on my laptop speakers at the other end of the room.

is it that us guys in our thirtys are getting deaf early or what. it must be the noise our kids are making. ha ha
