Depends on how he evacuates the dance floor. On his own recongisance, then perhaps health. If NEC have to launch him with a fight, then it will be at the interest of South Africa and the ANC as the reason cited.

similar predictions have been made about Zim for decades.... nothing changes.
 
Ill believe it when I see it. And even if he is replaced, in my view each and every ANC official is as bad as the other one....so it will just be more of the same. I am open to be surprised however. Time will tell.

I was saying to everyone that week when pravin was removed in december that zuma will be removed before an election to garner votes. Zuma is a card they playing,waiting for the right moment.

I was thinking more like 3 months before the elections this year. Or before the general election either way that card was going to be played. But with hurricane gupta,there is no place to hide.

3 years ago most people knew nothing about gupta's now everyone knows. Guptas was sipping their cocktails planning their next corrupt deal and how they will be running the country for the next year. Their *******s must be flinching day and night in their mansions now.
 
And if he is recalled, who will replace him? Ramaphosa, who's suddenly dialing up the racial rhetoric? Or Nkosazana Zuma, the most ineffectual politician on the planet? Mbete/Mkhize/Duarte? Which one of these feeble ideologues would be next? Yes, Zuma must go, but there isn't a single one on their NEC that isn't IMHO going to be an equal disaster, except maybe for Gordhan, but that's not going to happen. I think Ramaphosa is highly overrated, btw.

Depending on what the official election date is we're either already in that 3 month window or at most we're 1.5 months from it as the IEC website says "the elections must take place between 18 May and 16 August 2016".

I don't buy the "waiting for the right moment" theory at all, the moment is now, it is yesterday or months before in fact. If they do it now there would be precious little time to put a credible replacement in place that can still do the campaign drive some good.

Hence I'm willing to bet money it doesn't happen before the municipal elections, and if it doesn't happen shortly after it won't happen at all, by the end of 2017 the ANC would already elect their next leader anyway and they'd just need to wait another 2 years with their snouts in the trough for him/her to become the president of the nation.

I get what u saying but think about. The anc votes anc,their followers dont care who runs it. Yes many followers say there is a leadership crisis and there are those who hate jz,at the end of the day,they just want the anc to win. There is followers that want ramaphosa because he is the "people's" man,so i think a move like that can absolutely work. This is just my thoughts tho,i'm sure there is much more to take into account,im just saying it can work.
