A Solution for Vodacom.

Has anyone actually read the complete OP?

I read the first few lines and double checked if I'm in the right section...ended up realizing that I indeed am and you posted in the wrong section. Interest lost...

I created the thread in the most relevant section possible.
A mod can move this if required.

Most relevant section possible would be the vodacom section.

This is not news nor a link to a MYBB article. :erm:

* sigh ... just PM Jannie... include graphs and a pie chart. He loves graphs and pie charts.

Who does not love pie?

Any case; @Human, your suggestions have been noted thanks and are pretty much in line with something I've been working on. But it's one step better than your suggestion. ;)

And I'll make sure the T's&C's are safe from day 1. :)

I foresee Hell on Vodacon the Sequel if it is in line with these shoddy suggestions.

Crumbs... rather then send the few naughty users to detention and then expel them if they continue, we will now revise the entire school's curriculum.

1. RIM needs to close any loopholes.
2. Vodacom needs to focus on the 5% gorging on the current offerings.

What is the issue? Do BB users in SA really need a VAS service revision ala iBurst ?

i think the probblem is that the current curriculum does not offer a detention option...

I'll ignore your childish turn of phrase and answer your post with respect you actually have not earned.
To use your analogy:
The current school system is not able to expel the abusers of the schools as the abusers are currently protected by the school's own rules.

Cheeeezuz. Maybe move your thread to TK ?

What do these 5% have to do to allow them to do what they do ?
How do they get around RIMS service restrictions that used to be there ?
What has changed that allows 5% of BB users to do this ?
Is this an international phenomenon ? or unique to Vodacom South Africa ?

Focus on the 5%. Work from there.

It works for 95% of users.

A repeat post from another thread:

5gb max cap, after that dont even throttle....just cap it......how you use your data is your business...if you cant bbm or email because you a rapist then tough luck......

Obviously after 5gb you can buy a bundle or get charged with oob shark-prepaid users without airtime simply disconnect until more airtime is loaded.

Fair for all IMO.

Would this not be suitable a simple solution JANNIE?Any reason this wont work for vodacom?

oh and i wouldnt even make a big pr release about this, maybe just make a few quiet announcements that this will be put into place later in the month......like nothing immediate.......

Vodacom have already succeeded... we are debating the size of the cap for this service... toll roads anybody ?
