I support Human's OP, I would like to get get to a win / win situation.
Currently most BB users are being affected by a small percentage of greedy users who are abusing the unlimited offering.
I suggest that all BB users download a traffic monitoring app and see how much data they really use, then you can make a call as to how much data you need at 3G speeds. What has been said before is that we think we use a lot more data than we actually do, however there is no official info on how and what data is manipulated/compressed. This would make a difference as we are reacting on gut feel as there are minimal facts to go on.
The reality is that if you want to download large files at 3G speeds, you are not using the BB system as designed, just using it as a cheap means of getting unlimited bandwidth and that is at the expense of the rest. I agree that this is abuse and needs to be regulated somehow. If you don't agree with Human then make suggestions. If you don't then don't complain when something is done about the abuse!
