A week with Apple ...

Will this still be your argument when Apple finally moves to a 45w charger and Samsung has a 60W charger?

@Dolby Enjoy the walled garden and a rabid user base that damages the brand even more than Samsung fan boys ever could do attacking it.

Lol you mean the same Samsung that sells a 45W now that is only marginally faster than the 25W?

No it won’t, fast charging phones have buffer capacity and charge calibration code to hide degradation from the user. There have probably been advancements but I doubt it’s as much as you think.
Ok, tell me, clever guy. What disadvantage do I have now with my 8 month old Huawei 66W fast-charging smartphone that you will not have?

You know @Dolby, despite our past grievances I applaud you for at least trying it out, unlike most arm chair experts here on MyBB. If it doesn't work out then so be it, you can at least be assured the iPhones keep their value well, so you'll have no issue selling and going back to Android.

I never said I would buy Samsung's charger, and I didn't. I bought a Ugreen charger for my S22 Ultra. And even Samsung isn't on the cutting edge when it comes to chargers. Been very impressed with the charging performance of the Chinese brands like Huawei and Xiaomi.
Even I am not impressed with the Samsung 45W charger performance or its price. Makes the 20W charger from Apple look reasonably priced.

I've noticed that when Apple to move to a new technology, it's because the time is right / technology has improved .

But @Nike7 like I said earlier, when I had my 40w charger back in late 2018, I was warned about the heat generated and a damaged battery in less than 2 years. But 4 years down the line, my battery has hardly degraded beyond what a 4 year iPhone would have with it's few watts.
Thank you. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

OP said he opened the FNB app to pay/tap. I'm saying I do not need to do that with my Android phone.
The FNB app never appealed to me for pay/tap. I use Samsung Pay on my phone and watch, even more now that Capitec is supported.
Is Apple Pay now fully supported in SA?

not necessarily, when the tech becomes cheaper and doesn't eat into apple's profit margin then they will add the feature, that's the way it's always been with apple. You can check with industry experts like ross young.same reason why this year's se wasn't updated and is still using a non-led screen, etc

This is just what YouTuber clowns like MKBHD say, which is probably one of the talking points apple gave them.

Oh I see, so you answered your own question, when Samsung releases a 60W charger, no one will care, cause their chargers are sh1te...

In essence, really you're not really paying with the app, but rather your card. The app is just a virtual interface.

not yet but its getting there,I'm more attracted to apple pay because it supports online transactions Samsung doesn't and like all things google, google pay is not supported in RSA.

When you say it doesn't support online transactions, as in the virtual card doesn't work?
