A0 Printer

I've got a huge pictureframe with a puzzle (~A0) I built on my wall. Very relaxing beach scenery. Bigger is better.

Bwana...if you print at that size...make a plan to make sure that the paper is flat against the glass in the frame.i.e if there is a gap between the glass and picture then its got this funny wave effect on it.

Thanks, now I just have to find something I want to print.

I still want a life size picture of myself gooing a lank corny pose, then get it on a carton stand. I'll maybe put it on the roof of my house on sunny days. who knows?

We use an A0/A1 printer to print house plans as my husband is a draughtsman and works from home. It is much cheaper to go to these printing or photo shops because if we bought one ourselves we would probally have to take out a bond!!! They are really really expensive.

Great another female :D Sorry. :o

Seriously I hope you didn't just join to say that as a first post.
We all hope you're here to stay. We can seriously use a female perspective from time to time. This place is a stifling sausage-fest sometimes.

Welcome.

hey everybody, i know this thread is pretty old but im slow and all ;)
what size resolution would you need to print at A0? is 10MP fine?

I am also a architectural draughtsman.

Went into town almost every day to go and print my plans. It became too expensive if you take the time and petrol just to print a couple of pages.

Saved up and bought a HP DesignJet 130. It put me back financially for a while, but boy.... those A1 colour print on gloss paper sure are nice.

I wouls also go with pic nr 3.

Just did a A1 poster for the office. R100 and got to say the quality is pretty decent. This could be habit forming. :D

<sjoke>hey, maybe it is just me, but all those photos look the same to my untrained eye, in fact, I could swear I have seen them before......pick anyone you want<joke>

damn i'm tired. roll on christmas

back on topic, my dad did some houseplans when i was a lad and i inherited some of them..picked up some frames over the weekend for £7 each, very very happy. just wondering around in the shops and spotted them in the corner. my lucky day!

Thats a dam good price for that size

Getting a photo unavailable from flickr
I pulled those photos a while back. :)
where did you get it done? Katz or foto First
Neither - used a print shop in central. Basically paid the same price for the A1 that I did for an A2 a few weeks ago at Katz.
