AA & BBBEE, will they ever end?

Affirmative action is still operational in many countries, and we're well behind them, so don't expect it to end soon.

Ok - in Malaysia? and the US(and it's being dismantled there) - but where else ?

How do you get companies run by racist, sexist white males to hire other races and women?

Well it has been in force in the US for decades.

Other countries include Australia (for women - still in force as far as I am aware, they have only recently ended their program to exterminate the Aborigines), Canada.

The issue is not with affirmative action, but its implementation. It does not work if you're forced to hire unqualified people purely on the basis of some other criterion. Now I've personally never seen that happen in South Africa, and I know no-one who has trouble getting work because they're white and male, but no doubt some people do.

The technical skills shortage is such that a racist, sexist white boss will hire anybody that could do the job.

The problem is that CV's arriving from black ladies in particular are bloating with spelling errors and other major signs of incompetency casting doubt on the quality of the "degree certificates" they attach.

On top of this, they demand salaries 50% and more higher than a white women would ask.

I'm not against justice for apartheid's wrongs, but certainly not the way BEE does it(ie. not based on individuals history, but on colour), and this also can't go on forever, and any persons(from any race) born after 1994 also should not have a right to BEE, this should be written in BEE too.

Not wanting to cover this discussion in detail AGAIN but do people really think that in 1994 someone snapped their fingers and all of a sudden all South Africans were on an equal footing?

Well... there certainly were a select few previously disadvantaged that suddenly became very advantaged... and 14yrs later...they seem to be doing even a lot better.

Yes, esp. for people born after 1994

thing is that everyone now has the freedom to do what ever they wanted, and after then had the time to endeavor that, and besides, their parents now also have the BEE advantage to raise them.

Note that the apartheid government is not responsible for the majority of the 'disadvantaged' peoples misfortunes, the africans did not have modern know-how, as the sea setlers did, and thus did not know how to live in the modern corporate world, apartheid cannot be held accountable for that.

Ha ha, I refuse to respond to this argument! It is naive at best!

Yes! The ANC had the power to address education (where everything starts) but instead they bought weapons, renamed stuff, etc. You know typical african mentality reigned supreme.

They must be running the US and UK too.

How about:
Note that men are not responsible for the majority of the 'disadvantaged' women's misfortunes, women did not have modern know-how, as the men did, and thus did not know how to live in the modern corporate world, men cannot be held accountable for that.
