Absa down again?

Just got of the phone with Absa.
Their call center denies any system problems.

Lady treated me like an idiot (Which i probably am), but yet a consumer of their excellent products and banking charges.
We have only had about 800+ complaints this morning.
She gave me this URL which seems to be working now and again: https://ib.absa.co.za/ib/ib.jsp
This after holding on for about 20 minutes. After querying why they have the long waiting period as well as repeated "We are experiencing high call volumes" i was told this is normal.

I just sent my banker an email requesting confirmation on how they intend on refunding me for +-10 late payments, including SARS. . . How do I explain to my domestic that I have been unable to pay her since Sunday because the bank won't let me? ABSA - ****ing retards.

All they are going to say there are other means of paying your bills and will not be held responsible. Not saying its right what they are doing, but that will probably be there response. Guess I am just one of those lucky ones, but I didn't have major issues with Absa. Besides the high bank charges, but that was rectified and now its decent in comparison and for what I need it
 
It'll be interesting to see there response - and there are no other means unless they are willing to pay my hourly rate as a contractor to go into the bank, draw the money and then do cash deposits at various other banks (and cover the fee's for those cash deposits).

Lol, i have been trying this whole morning to login, so frustrating.
Guess thats the only thing they can do now lmao

ABSA is right up there with things I'd like to hit in the balls with a baseball bat - my 'new' personal banker also is not responding - she'll join the ranks of old personal bankers soon.
 
I was lucky enough to sneak in once and transfer R5k to my credit card. Money which has since been blown on an Astra sized boot full of wine.
