Abseiling - How we get fit

The best abseil I've done is the one on the Knysna Heads in William Smith's Nature Reserve. It is about 70 - 80m IIRC.

I did it a couple of years ago as part of the "Awesome Foursome" adventure package. You start of kayaking from Leisure Isle across the lagoon to Featherbed. Then it is a short hike up the hill and then you do some quad biking at the top. Then off to the abseil point where you can go twice, some people rap jump the second time. Then a short hike along the shoreline back to the kayaks and back across the lagoon.

I did a 60m one at a place near George, I was ****ting myself!
Made the guy check my safety rope twice!

Sounds awesome, tell me more. :)
Is there a website for this?

Looking for some outdoor activity in Dec / Jan, going to the South cape for a holiday.

EDIT: Found this, only R460. :)

And climb back up again; Now take a hike - because we’re off to the quad bike track to put something fast and wild between your legs; Don helmet and goggles and follow our easy-to-read lips as we teach you how to use our fully automatic quad bikes;
