Who in Cape Town does abseiling and such?

I asked CityROCK but they don't do it, they call it "Rope Access"

I'm also hoping that this place in question doesn't charge an arm and a leg!

Who knows of any places, and these places are safe etc...

Hmm, there's a place that does Abseiling off Table Mountain - my company's using them for an event later this year.

Not sure of their name, though. I can try to find out for you if no-one else has any suggestions.

Please do...

I believe this is also known as "Rope Access"

I'm trying to do it so that when needed, I know how to do it PROPERLY.

VWS does minimal training and I want to do it as much as I can, It can't be HECTICALLY expensive either, I'm not rich! haha.

Are you phaking crazy. Suspended between life as you know it and Kingdom come ... by a mere piece of string.

hmmmm ... I've had some suicide tendencies ... I think I might give that a try ... NOT!

I have been abseiling once near George Picard and it wasnt at all bad.
Rather fun, and its two ropes, your normal plus a safety :D

Yeah, there is always a safety one which is great.

I haven't done it yet, the VWS training was post poned, the point is, I want to do it anyways, so if ever needed, I'm sorted!

Its awesome fun... ;)

Used to abseil back down after climbing up those WALLS with the hook'ish stuff... Awesome fun... The wall was only like 5 metres high tho... :D
