After struggling quite some time to set up my Motorola V360 using Motorola Mobile tools I finally got the phone to create a GPRS on my PC.

Now I'm getting the following error message when trying to access sites:
403
Access denied by access control list.

I'm at my wits end? A very select few sites are available, but most other sites gives the same error (this includes GMail, Google etc). Anyone have an idea how I can sort this out?

Details:
I'm using a Motorola V360 connected to a Win XP PC using a USB cable.
Contract: MTN Mychoice Topup
Software: Motorola Mobile Tools

I think I sorted it out. I had a proxy setting of my normal dail-up connection enabled. I'm pretty sure that caused the problem, but I'll test it later on.

Yea, that was what I would have suggested, make sure the cache server ain't sitting in the dialup connection for the fastlink.

The ACL error is coming from an external server and likely to be a cache server.

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> connections

Check the MTN dialup connection in dialup and make sure the the Proxy Server option is disabled.

I had that problem once! And i figured out that MPT's was using the 'myMTN' APN which is only meant for phones and MMS. So make sure your APN is 'internet'

Good day,

Did you manage to sort it out?

Please let me know

Thanks MTNDD
