acrobat 8 assistance

hi guys, i recieved a email containing a file that opens in acrobat reader 8, but i cant add text which i need to do to forward the document with the new info on it. can anyone please help me with the matter? i'm not an Acrobat pro....everytime i click on the space that i need to add text to, it only highlights the whole page...plz advise..

You need a PDF editor program or one that allows you to complete PDF forms. I use the full version of Adobe Acrobat but I know that there are freeware/shareware on the net. I suggest the Google thing. GL
