Here is a link to a program to Sync your windows mobile phone/pda with linux. I used this program about 5 years ago, got a new HTC on Friday installed this morning and just synced my HTC with my laptop. There is a forum if you get stuck Iám using Mandriva and it works a treat. There are packages for most of the popular distros as well as good instructions distro specific. Enjoy

and as usual i forget to put the link in :o http://www.synce.org

Apparently iSync works on Linux ... i will be putting it to the test when the sun rises in the next hour or two.
I am hoping most of the other apps and work arounds i use on my MacBook will work on ubuntu.
As far as i can see it should .. seeing as most of the modz i used since switching from windows for MAC where all intended for Linux OS which is pretty much the same thing.
