Add eSIM capability to any Android smartphone

I know it shows on the spec sheet of smasung and others
But none of the adverts I have seen selling it show as having esim capabilities
same with the s23FE adverts

So you need an advert to tell you the specs? Generally most ads don't go full details anyway.

Yup because I know some phones are region specific
And if it doesnt show in the ad I cannot return it

But it is on the ZA Samsung Website, so you could check there.

If a provider is selling a different model, like what has happened to a user, you can return it. As the official SA versions have e-sim, though it isn't region specific for these 2 like it was for the A54.
With Redmi devices you have to ensure you've got the right model, is it the 4G, 5G, pro, pro +, is it the global, chinese or or model, they are terrible at their naming schemes and region specifics to count on what GSM Arena says.

In the past many brands have suffered with this, including samsung
I dont really care what people use as long as they are happy with it and it meets their needs

When I bought I needed ( not wanted due to geeek wants ) the esim for travel purposes. That was before the cheaper samsung version was available and I wasnt going to buy an iphone. I dont like iphones and yes I have a work one , so i do know them.
SO at the time I was looking for specs , Samsung wasnt an option
Was sick and tired of buying local sims.
Also roaming is not viable either anymore. Not just because of cost. On my last trip my SA sim ( one of the main 3 ) decided to deactive my roaming without telling me , even though it was still showing active in the online profile. Said I had to send them proof of residence lol.
F that. Will never trust any of them again. I now use a VOIp account as a 2nd contact that people that need to can get hold of me.

I tend to steer away from proprietry tech anyway for single point of contacts / backups and password vaults. Rather use the normal open source/multi tech/vendor versions

I tried to order 2xJMP eSIMs + a USB device early last week. The site refused to accept any of my CCs - the payment gateway ended up in a spinning circle of death. Tried over 2 days, multiple browsers/pcs/isps - so wasn't a transitory issue either. I contacted their support (they only provide support via Jabber), and a week later I'm still waiting on anyone to respond or even acknowledge my query.

So take this "availability" with a pinch of salt...

I have the Galaxy F23FE and can confirm it has dual eSIM capability, you can not have both active at the same time though, which would have been great.

Also got the new One UI6.1.1 which is cool but using that much AI does not really appeal to me. But, it is a good phone, fast and responsive to my needs.

I have 6 active numbers, I probably "require" 3. It's useful to have spare numbers when they have you "verify" this or "sign up" to that.
