Factor in investment risk then the picture will be clearer. When you are young and poor can you afford to take major risks? Ask the people who invested with Sharemax or other higher risk schemes how well that worked for them.Or it can be a catastrophe of terms and conditions when failing to pay, so not an advantage at all.
It cuts both ways and isn’t really beneficial.
Better financial education and self discipline goes a much longer way than forced investment contracts.
And if the cost of said contracts means a major loss or low performance over alternatives then it makes even less sense.
Fact is, there is a place for every type of investor and circumstances will dictate which investment vehicle is the best for you.
