Adding XP on Mac wifi connection

Hey Guys, I have no Mac experience and i need to add a XP machine on a wireless connection run by a mac. How do i do this, is there any setting i need to play with on the Mac on can i just activate the XP machine?

The mac is running the wifi connection.not sure on details yet.It is just for me to logon the connection with the XP machine.For some reason it cannot find the wifi connection

So you've got your mac sharing its wifi connection with the pc - without any other external device such as a wireless router?

You've set up sharing in the system preferences on the mac?

BUd the wifi router is setup with the mac,i need to get the XP machine to connect to it

Then you shouldn't have any problems but how easy it will happen largely depends what the hardware is and how it is configured.
