Hi,

A female friend of mine just found out that she suffers from some kind of disease (I forget the name). One of the most prominent symptoms is hair loss. She can purchase wigs to wear on her head when the time comes, but she has already lost all her eyebrows. She is thinking of having them tattood on but I'm not sure that's the best way - what if they screw it up? I have tried to google to find a supplier but am concerned whether they are entirely reputable. I dont suppose anyone has any ideas where I can get good quality adhesive eyebrows?

Why don't she just draw them on with that pencil u get? Not sure what its called. But as far as stick on eyebrows u probably have to go to a doctor so that he can organize one.

I am sure they must make fake eye brows, i mean you can get fake tits, hair, you can even have a sex change. I am almost 100% sure there must be false eye brows.

Tattooing does not sound like a great idea to me, first they are for good meaning as she ages they will move wrinkle etc. I would not go this route.

+1. I see a lot of black women with those drawn eyebrows. They're not the greatest, but they're better than nothing...

There was something on the radio (possibly 702) about it awhile back, apparently there is a place in Linden that can supply these things. They do it for cancer patients and people whith eyebrow loss. Unfortunately I cannot give you a name or number, Its either a makeup place or a wig manufacturers. Good luck...

Why not try someone in the film industry? They do special effects make up and stuff, so try to get in contact with a movie studio and ask for the special effects person / or make up artists, and they should be able to assist? I mean they transform people on a regular basis in the movies - look at Leon Schuster for instance. Its worth a try?

I know someone who got eyeliner tattooed on - boy did that look awful.

So what disease would that be? I'm sure if you asked her she could remind you. Frequent use of crystal meth could also cause you to suffer hair loss, hopefully this will stop once you cease using the world's most dangerous drug.

Cancer causes hair loss....

Drug addicts tend not to plan ahead for impending hair loss (and its unlikely they would care) while cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy might.

Chemo indeed does. Except chemo is not a disease. A lot of drug addicts refer to their problem as a disease.

A disease? I've got a disease, it's called zzzzz factor.

Gnite ;) :D :p
