Adjustable angle solution for Solar panels

Thinking outside the box.... a simple hydraulic solution that tilts the house!

Don't Crusify me please.

Summer angle is 5 degrees
spring autum is 28 degrees and winter is 54 degrees if I remember correctly.

You can adjust panels between summer and winter or fix them at 28 - 30 degrees. Summer is a issue. it gets HOT up there.

Winter days are shorter. summer has clouds.

FU Eskom.

I am way way over generating on panels. as is seen in the middle usage period. also I am on 15kWh batteries but limiting charging current to 30 to 40A in stead of the Nominal 75A they should take.

Somewhat related: Friends used to heat their Jacuzzi's water through two adjustable solar heating panels and a fancy controller. They rarely used it during in winter because of the electricity cost - after installing it they used it a LOT.

What would be cool is having at automated via a stepper motor, synced to a time/date.
There is an ophthalmic hospital on the outskirts of Vanderbijlpark called Ocumed. They have a massive array of solar panels that switches the panels over from the morning position to the afternoon position to optimise the exposure to the sun.

Unfortunately it's not yet possible to see the installation on Google maps, it's only fairly recently been installed.

That sounds like east/west config. terrible performance in winter.
