Hi folks

My connection died about 10 minutes ago. Melville JHB. Anybody else?

dead - Springs, not sure what time but was between 4pm and now also

Mine also went down for a short while - back to normal now - possibly this fault:

SAIX Network Notice Update

Problem Description : New Doornfontein
Impact : All ADSL customer will experience slow connectivity Time Down : 5 Oct, 2006 at 17:13:00 (SAT) Time Up : None Sites : New Doornfontein Services Affected : ADSL Customers Update Description : Our Techs are busy attending.

IS was dead a few minutes ago, SAIX wasn't. Both seem to be working now. Jhb South 855 exchange

Emmarentia, Jo'burg, PKV exchange. TelkomSA (SAIX) down, they reporting connectivity problems from their call centre. OpenWeb (IS?) took forever to connect but now up and running

we lose sync all the time in Blairgowrie, ever since they upgraded the line to 4mbit. Telkom wants me to believe its the modem (Netgear DG834, but I tested with a marconi too).

My adsl is really slow to certain international sites (SAIX) at the moment, nameley servage.net :(

tried two different accounts, both the same :(

I can get to servage.net as normal, but there are lots of other sites hosted in Europe I cannot get to or are very slow.

Perdeby, what area of VanderbijlPark you in?

I'm in SW5, Vanderbijlpark with no Sync (on Eligwa park exchange 016 932 ****)

The last five days has been nothing but frustrating. IP resets occuring at least 5 times a day.

Here's hoping for a more stable connection going forward...

There is definitely weird stuff going on can't host a game of warcraft without every single person disconnecting from my game 1 by 1!

Same exchange and I have also been experiencing more frequent resets over the past few days. Also a degrading in latency - pinging 165.146.0.1 has increased by an average of 10ms to about 44ms from about a week ago.

Grubsner could you check your ping to above site (gateway)

International DEAD - can't access Google, or any other international sites. Local DAMN slow. Torrents won't connect, MSN won't connect. went dead about 10minutes ago.
