Tomorrow ADSL should be available in Napier. I wanna help SB get it sorted as she is a bit stressed right now, long story. When she calls Telkom and orders ADSL, does she get a new email address with telkom what what exactly happens

Ahhhh the familiar telkom roundabout

Hope she gets her issues sorted out soon...

Pse send her my regards ;) - my vodacom contract's under suspension for non-payment again :D :D going to pay them tomorrow.

Keeps the same email address, gets a new username and password.

//phone them on 0800 375 375 they'll talk you through it (got an order/job no?)

She will know what is what in the next Month or so, when it comes to her issues. I hope she gets the adsl, will be cool

I wouldn't use the email address from Telkom though, rather use a Gmail one, that way you're not tied to a specific ISP.

I don't trust Google with my personal information. I don't care what they say - the fact that they scan the contents of your email for the purposes of determining which ads are relevant is enough for me to stay away from them.

In practice is it really that different from other companies scanning your email for spam?
