ADSL in North Riding

This is for all those forumites in the North Riding area (and surrounds) that are using ADSL.

I connected about 5 years ago when ADSL was in it's infancy. I now find myself miles, literally, from the exchange and can't exceed about 2Mbps.

I was wondering if there is a new or second exchange in the area, my neighbour uses a 011 704 number and mine is a 011 462 number. Just wondering if there is a closer exchange I can switch to to allow me to access 4Mbps+?

Anyone know how I could check on this?

Thanks man, still sounds like the Olivedale exchange then.

Will run some tests on my neighbours ADSL and see what their SNR and attenuation is.
