So I went and collected my nice shiny new modem, *hoping* that it might improve my speeds.
Its the Mega 100WR router with wireless and 4 port swith...unfortunately still sync'ing at 2MB
One up is that it is using Trained Modulation ADSL_G.dmt now, but after hassling to get this thing working with my IPCop smoothly I decided rather to go back to the old modem. Sigh....
This is what the new modem says:

So there no way to get back to my old 4MB speeds?
your line attenuation is a bit 2 high for 2->4mb
