Still disappointing on a 4 Mbs ADSL line and I'm situated 1,300 meters from the giant Telkom Hub in Wynberg. We're not the worst off area but we still pay for nearly double what we are delivered. Anybody else got a comment from a similar perspective?

My Telkom ISP ADSL speeds are very slow today. I have a 4 Mbps connection. Here's my result from a speed test just done

Upload Speed: 427 kbps (53.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 13 ms
Jitter: 1 ms

Some feedback on my post above:
Today I made contact with Telkom via their Facebook page, and sent a PM to them requesting a port re-set on my Telkom line. I PM'd them my landline number, and they performed the reset and notified me of the reset, and suggested I reboot my router.

I was immediately back to just over 3 Mbps DL (which is what I usually get on my Telkom ISP 4 Mbps line)
That Telkom FB page could be a life-saver. Queries seem to be responded to quickly, and my port reset request was done within a few minutes of my post.
