ADSL Transition from MWEB to Axxess

I am in the process of cancelling my MWEB ADSL bundle (line + uncapped) and moving to Axxess. I need to do a month notice with MWEB, but could I use the Axxess uncapped while the ADSL line is still part of the MWEB bundle, or will MWEB only allow MWEB accounts on that line?

You can use any accounts on the line. Unless you have a mweb modem with mweb firmware.

I'm going in the opposite direction (Axxess to Mweb). I'm also going from a bundled package and would like to know the following:
Mweb informed me that the adsl line needs to migrate back to Telkom and only then can the they take over the management of the line. I requested Axxess to end their management of the line with effective date 31/01/2014 - how can I determine if and when the line is back with Telkom in order to apply with Mweb?
