ADSL Usage

Is it just me, or is Telkom ADSL phucked? According to them I've heven't used any bandwidth, but I've been downloading like hell.

A friendly notification that according to our records your usage as at [2006-3-6 00:00:01] reflected the following:

Username: [email protected]
Uploaded: 0Bytes
Downloaded: 0Bytes
Combined Total: 0Bytes
Service threshold: 3.00GB

Please bear in mind that this is a usage-based service.....

Not that I mind, but I'm afraid of them waking up and deciding to thumbsuck a value for everyone....
 
Same here as well. Except my internet connection has been CRAP all weekend. It drops almost every 5 minutes, then syncs for about 40 min before it repeats itself.

I also suddenly have a 29k ms ping to the Vent server my guild uses for WoW, which all started at friday night. :(

So i'll rather have them check my BW again and fix the damn line
 
According to telscum i've downloaded nothing as well. According to my calculations i've had about 20gb traffic so far this month. Whatever you're doing telkom, keep on doing it!
 
Check on saix for your stats. http://userstats.adsl.saix.net/
Telkom are still capping based on the results from Saix, so check there.

Being telkom, they don't give a toss about their users and will happily cap us even though we've not been informed..... (its happened to a few users already)
 
Is any1 receiving usage info via Telkom's usage notification system. The problem seems quite widespread.
 
this is probably why they claim 3GB is ample.

"Yah, but according to our monitoring software, not one of our users has even come close to using 3GB this month."

Go figure.
