I recently purchased an A10 remote control from Multichoice and have struggled since to get an Advanced Remote
Control Guide, so that I can programme the device to control my TV volume - just like I have been doing with the A7 and A9 remotes, before they had to be replaced.
NOBODY at Multichoice is able to assist, as a matter of fact, they are not even aware of the A10's exsistance.
Is there anyone on the platform that coule possible be of assistance?
Thank you kindly.

I am in the same situation. there is no Advanced guide or a procedure to program this A10 remote. Multichoice call centre told me to bring the decoder and remote in. I need to program it to control my TV and sound bar but i must bring the units in. Go figure.

Did you find a solution?

Very similar to the A7 remote. If programming manually do as you would for the A7 but on the A10, use ALT instead of ARC. I’ve not tried auto programming but would assume doing the same, i.e. using ALT instead of ARC.

For button lock/unlock, use OK instead of ARC.

Multichoice has had the A10 remote for a couple of years and they still have no manual. To my mind this what Multichoice is about. Once you have bought their product you are on your own.
In the box they say you will find it on one of their sites.

Rubbish

I can only agree with Paenkel about the poor service of DStv. They have a monopoly in South Africa and they unfortunately know it.
Thank you to Gudnews for the copies of the manual. I did not even get this with my new Ultra decoder, only a poor blue sheet with blue tettering on it. Needs a magnifying glass to read it and then the info I am looking for is not even present.

If your remote is only controlling your tv volume and not the decoder, hold OK and -V for 3 seconds untill it flashes red twice, then it should be back to controlling decoder volume... also the reverse applies, if you want to switch to tv volume control, hold OK and +V for 3 seconds untill it flashes twice

Considering there seems to still be no advanced manual for this remote and it lacks the ARC button of previous models, you can enter programming mode by holding ALT + TV PWR until the decoder power light flashes. You are now in programming mode for the TV PWR, AV and volume control buttons. Remember to press OK and V+ to use your programmed volume control buttons, or as Chris pointed out, OK and V- to control the decoder volume
