Sound like fun :-). Lets take a change, and maybe just maybe i will win this competition LOL

Although I've had my licence for many years, I only started driving about 6 months ago. Trust me, considering all the close calls I've had since, you guys really need me to win this! :)

(Also, I'm hoping "guys" was meant figuratively, not literally. :))

Because I need practice... rear wheel drive, wet roads, corners... and getting caught not concentrating.....

Well I was driving my Nissan 1400 bakkie awhile ago on the N1 from Bellvile to Durbanville, a week before this a mate change my brakes on the Bakkie. Needless to say he didn't "bleed" the brakes. Which meant that if I brake the bakkie would turn left. On this particular day the road was wet, but it wasn't raining anymore. I drove and went into the fastlane this was just after work so there were a lot of cars on the road. The car in front of me suddenly stopped which meant I was braking hard. At that specific moment my left tyre were on the white line left of me, the brakes locked and I basically made a 180 degree turn on the N1. After the skid I was facing oncoming traffic in the middle lane ****ting my pants! i survived barely because as I came to a halt an Audi A3 barely missed me! Lots of swearing and hooting ensued.

After this experience I realised that it doesn't matter how good of a driver you are , sometimes unavoidable **** happens, but with this advanced course i could atleast keep damage to a minimum!

drop my insurance premiums...that would be so so sooooo awesome! plus it must be so much fun to do :D

In Cape Town. Hopefully my insurance will decrease and they'll regard me as a "better driver"!

I have always wanted to learn the limits of my car and become the next stig!

I drive a car without any electronic safety aids, so I feel that an advanced driving course will decrease my chances of being involved in a collision. It will also be fun to see what my car can do around Killarney :D

My job has me on the road daily. It would be great to have a little more confidence to control any situation I might get into, on the roads today.

Have always wanted to do an advanced driving course :) Oh, and I live in Cape Town of course :P

well i always wanted to know how to react and to get the car to react so as to avoid collisions = just like the pros on topgear
i always wanted to be taught by a "STIG" :-)

I'm 24 and therefore drive like a ****..... thus I need all the training I can get to ensure that I do so safely.

I am in Cape Town and would love this experience...

I am a speed freak at heart and would love to take this experience nad highten my driving skills.

I drive an OPC and i feel that this course would not only allow me to truly experience my car but also make me a safer driver with my 3 boys who share the car with Daddy :)

Great! Do we need a good excuse for this one?

Ok, I have recently changed from a 1.6 sedan to a 3l V6 D/C bakkie, so I need all the help I can get. This thing is a beast to drive :)
I know a bakkie is not the same as a sedan, but the principles regarding driving technique is still the same, I hope.
Also getting a bit older so the reflexes is not the same as at 20 years, but the driving style is still about the same....

P.S. Am also in CPT.

My sis got me one of these last year for my bday. I'm only going on it tomorrow, first open place I could book... 1 year and 4 months later. Wonder why she bought this for me, she's the one that needs it, had 6 accidents compared to my 0...

(Think I know remember why, that's when I upgraded from a 1.4l to a 2.0T)
