Well I was driving my Nissan 1400 bakkie awhile ago on the N1 from Bellvile to Durbanville, a week before this a mate change my brakes on the Bakkie. Needless to say he didn't "bleed" the brakes. Which meant that if I brake the bakkie would turn left. On this particular day the road was wet, but it wasn't raining anymore. I drove and went into the fastlane this was just after work so there were a lot of cars on the road. The car in front of me suddenly stopped which meant I was braking hard. At that specific moment my left tyre were on the white line left of me, the brakes locked and I basically made a 180 degree turn on the N1. After the skid I was facing oncoming traffic in the middle lane ****ting my pants! i survived barely because as I came to a halt an Audi A3 barely missed me! Lots of swearing and hooting ensued.
After this experience I realised that it doesn't matter how good of a driver you are , sometimes unavoidable **** happens, but with this advanced course i could atleast keep damage to a minimum!
