Howzit guys.

Can someone please tell me which is better - Ive currently got Telkom ADSL (2 meg line) and get download speeds of about 150 - 200 KB/s. I was thinking of canceling and taking out one of those 8ta 10gig contracts. Those of you that use 8ta, what speeds do you get when downloading torrents and how is the overall stability of the network when surfing the net? A buddy of mine said that his internet connection disconnects quite often so i was just wondering.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks.

My 8ta was faster than my ADSL ... but it depends on your area, I guess.

Also used to disconnect very often. I don't think there was a single day I'd come back from work and it'd be on

I would stick to ADSL if you need stability. You will never manage to download large files on 8ta (or any cell network for that matter) without resets (unless you're using torrents or similar). Though I have experienced excellent speeds on 8ta at times (up to 1mb/s, but usually I got about 400kbps), the disconnects/resets will always be a problem.

Thanks Oronte.
