Quick update:
I've now generated power worth 25% of my installation cost in the 16 months since installation
This is based on Eskom's 2022 tariffs, I'm not going to adjust the rate when Eskom increases its rates. Based on the above I can expect to have recovered my installation costs in 5 and a half years.
Based on my generation, my current cost of power is roughly R13.50 per kwH.
