Anyone signed up for Afrihost fibre on TTConnect? (Pomona, Kempton Park)

Applied 3 weeks ago, and have heard nothing from either party. Chased TTconnect several times with promised call backs, nothing. Eventually got told there are issues between Afrihost and TTConnect.

Chased Afrihost help desk, and they not sure what's happening either. After being promised call backs, I have yet to receive a call back without me phoning to chase them for info

Not sure if these are technical or billing in nature, but I'm getting nowhere with any details.

Anybody have any details on this?

That's not good to hear! It may take awhile for the actual order to be completed but we should have updated you at the very least so far.

Can you please PM me your details and I'll check what's up.
 
An update here. Finally got a straight answer out of TTConnect. They have a problem with the rates Afrihost are selling their product at. They claim Afrihost are selling TTConnect Fibre to the home as a business product. Their rates to businesses are significantly higher, hence no progress on the order, and their wont be any progress on the order. (In the order of 3 - 5 times higher).

I could have gone somewhere else had everyone been upfront with the issues. Shockingly bad service from both parties here. Stay clear if you can help it. I have still yet to hear from Afrihost, and the only way I got feedback from TTConnect was to constantly hound then.
