Afrihost 10c OOB data soft launch

If only I could get this on MTN prepaid, I will be very very happy. Please make it happen Afrihost.

We definitely keen to offer data on prepaid - it would definitely make our product more applicable to a wider audience. For now, it depends on when MTN open this up for us :(

My current solution to this is to get the cheapest sim only contract(R39PM) from MTN, then loap whichever Afrihost product you want on it.

This is great. I'm sure mobile carriers only charge such high OOB rates because they can. Maybe this will shake things up a bit.

I have to say Afrihost is doing it right. I use their mobile data and hosting x3, and I don't have a single complaint. The products are good, the pricing is good and the service is excellent.

I can recommend them confidently.

Why not just get a data SIM from us? Maybe what we should do is look at dual SIM phones so you can have an Afrihost Data SIM and whichever voice carrier you'd prefer - hmmm, I like that idea :)

I'm really glad to hear that we have your trust and you're willing to spread the word about us.

A little birdie told me this is not far off from happening.
Phones bundled with afrihost data...go figure.

Agree fully - I've dealt with the Afrihost call centre, and the online support and it must be highlighted how friendly and helpful they always are, and more specifically their knowledge. Service is top notch at Central HQ, which also cascades into these forums via their reps.

That so Cool! By the way I'm still on Cell C contract till next year february. So This deal i want then how i do that? Must I apply Afrihost for sim card (if can ported exisit number?) or which cellular that Afrihost run under? as I see one of you mention MTN?

If you want to use your existing voice SIM and just get our data, you'll need to port that number over to MTN on a contract. Otherwise you can purchase a data package (with Free SIM) from us, to use in any data device like a dongle or Mifi, or even on your phone.

We also plan to offer dual SIM phones at some point in the very near future - so watch out for that :)
