Afrihost 40% increase and slower speeds

My afrihost internet subscription went from R497 a month to R697 a month with slower speeds as you use more data, why the huge increase in the subscription and slower speeds? This is my internet speed now for almost R700 a month.

If you can cancel, look around for better pricing.

I think you can get 1TB @ 50 Mbps for R599 with Vodacom - 36 months contract - includes modem - 5G

Please confirm your usage or you can share your Afrihost account number via PM.

You could also consider Telkom 180+180 night (12-7am) at R389 per month (month-2-month). I do most of my large data volumes stuff for work early mornings.

It used to be less than R500, they increased it to almost R700. Would think for the increase they would at least have less aggressive throttling. Definitely moving to another isp.
