afrihost 5gig account

before I go and type a long winded e-mail to them does anyone know why you only get 2gigs if you sight up for a 5gig account ?
Thats R72.50 a gig not R29

When did you sign up? BW is pro-rata'd until the end of the month. I signed up for a 3GB account last week and got like 1GB, for which I paid around R20

All R29@Gb accounts are pro-rated until the end of this month. In the new month you will get your full allocation and will need to pay the full price. (Depending on when you signed up)

Go check your invoice Afrihost emailed you carefully, you'll see it's pro-rata

Noticed the same thing. I was capped this morning and had to login to the clientzone page to top up my 5GB account. It listed my account as a 5GB, but it didn't seem to allocate all the bandwidth.

It just listed 682.667 MB as being allocated. I had to keep topping up the account until it got to the point where it uncapped me (3 times for me).

It's obviously a billing problem on their side. I've emailed them about it, because it will create additional invoices if you use the top up feature.

But on the plus side, the account has been performing like a champ .
