Afrihost to buy Home-Connect

Afrihost has concluded a deal with CipherWave for an undisclosed sum that will see it take a majority stake in Internet service provider Home-Connect.

In a note to staff, Afrihost said the acquisition is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals and that they are working to finalize the transaction as soon as possible.

Will Home Connect now have a presence on MyBB, and provide better feedback than Axxess do (which is abysmal) ?

I have active connections on both networks that I mange

To be fair to AfriHost the support has massively improved, Home Connects has suffered over the last few years
But running trace routes I get a much fast pings and RTT much faster especially international traffic to EU up to 20 - 30 ms faster on home connect than Afrihost
With the pings been much faster the internet does feel a lot more snappy on home connect than afrihost Using Cat cable for tests

They need to learn how to spell the word they mean to, correctly :
unshapped"

.... and design / redesign their website for mobile - screenshot taken in landscape, because text in portrait was all over the place ; more-so than in landscape, if that's believable !

Otherwise, they seem totally professional

What kind of parent lends money and accepts interest payments.

Lend R750k, accept R750k back

Hey @Afrihost-Gian - when you're taking a break from all the acquisitions can you start honouring unsubscribes? I haven't been a customer of your company for years and have unsubscribed multiple times yet continue receiving newsletters. Some unsubscribe joy please?

Can you dm me and Afrigirl the mail and email address so we can get Dev to investigate?
