PS. Afrihost has been doing this at the end of every month, since December last year - I think, although they don't advertise the fact every month. I usually check on their site, around the last week of the month, and always see the special there

Web Africa is ridiculously expensive. I just saw their prices and they are still ripping people off.

Web Africa = R59 for 1gig
Afrihost = R58 for 2 gig

I just signed into my Web Africa account and I see they still charge R69 for 1 gig prepaid.

I just checked openweb's site and the 4meg gold option is still the same price. No special offer.

I just signed into my Web Africa account and I see they still charge R69 for 1 gig prepaid.

R69 is for the pre-paid option.

We have launched a new top-up called Recharge. It's R45 for 3gig's, all month long. You can top-up via the dsl console here

Well I'm a bit pissed off!!!
I am well aware of these monthly specials, but when I did my top-ups sometime last week, there was a banner scrolling indicating that the specials were finished for the month, so I bought a bunch of gigs for the rest of the month @R29/GB.
I was a bit unhappy to have missed out on any specials, but accepted that were no specials available for the month after the site indicated that the specials were finished.
Now a couple of days later the specials are suddenly available?
It is not a question of I missed the special by a bit of bad luck. There was a message scrolling to say there would be no specials for the month!
