Could someone please explain how this special works? Because I've created a new account with them and then activated my free gb, but I only get one gb free. No options?

If Afrihoax choose to ignore existing customers, I guess they will wait till something better come up and migrate...![]()
All you need to do is sign up for a free 1gig account and enter a friends landline number that does not use afrihost. The free accounts only work on the line specified when you sign up for it BUT when you choose the 10gig option it is no longer a free account and you are then able to use the account from up to 3 different landlines. I have my modem signed into my R29/1gig account and my laptop signed in via a broadband dial up connection on the same modem and they both work.
Pretty good deal, false advertising though. Gian says “You will not get a better value package anywhere”. That's incorrect (for the capped marked): WebAfrica's ‘Titan Complete 2’ package offers an ADSL line and 25GB for R599. Subtracting the cost of the line (R413 per month), this works out as R186 for 25 GB, or R7,44 per GB.
So Afrihost is a close second best in terms of value (to my knowledge)

Ja, but that R1 deal isn't applicable. I asked Gian and he said I must pay pro rata or something for this month, like R140 something, and then R99 from next month onwards.
the offer (R1) was stopped yesterday morning around 9AM. I called them last night just after 7PM.
They would now only consider it for customers that were registered prior to that cutoff should it be requested SOON.
