Grant
Honorary Master
I contacted Afrihost in order to arrange advance payment on my account for a different residence.
I wanted to make a direct cash deposit, to cover a few months at an ABSA branch into Afrihost's ABSA account.
This was the response:
Surly if I deposit for example R5000 using my account number for that residence (Afrihost also manages the ADSL line) as reference, my account is credited to that amount & any amounts due monthly are deducted from the credit.
I am not sure how (as afrihost states) this is at my own risk.
On all accounts I have, payment is rounded up to a higher amount which always results in the account being in credit.
I find it odd that Afrihost does not want, or encourage payments in advance - most businesses love clients that are willing to pay bulk amounts in advance !
Afrihostguy ??

Good Morning Grant
Trust you are well
Apologies for the late response.
Please be advised that we do not offer EFT as a payment option at all for any of our products.
However if you make an payment in advance - this is done at your own risk.
Please note that manual payments should be done in advance.
