Hi.Hi @Afrigirl - To confirm, I need Dynamic (public accessible) IP. If i sign up for a package (PureLTE) on for one of the Telkom capped packages (Choosing Telkom as apposed to MTN as I dont want to be locked to Tower and be abe to move the service), would this be behind CGNAT as well?
I guess what I am asking is - Which LTE solution can you offer that gives me BOTH mobility AND public IP (not cgnat).
Alternatively, you can try Telkom and set the APN to 'unrestricted'.Hi.
Telkom is using a carrier-grade NAT, and we do not manage the IP allocation.
MTN Pure LTE would have worked for you if it was for the location lock.
would setting to unrestricted mean dynamic IP? Would be a hard pill to swallow if going through all the effort and "testing" it not to work. if you can confirm that factually, then Im happy to go that route, as long if its not for the sake of "trying"Alternatively, you can try Telkom and set the APN to 'unrestricted'.
I can confirm using "unrestricted" APN will give you a dynamic IP and it does allow inbound connection.would setting to unrestricted mean dynamic IP?
