I have a Billion BiPac 7300NX router, the specs say that it does not support the MiFi dongle afrihost supplies

However !

look at the screenshots below:

There is a hint there that it might work, if only I know the settings.

The MiFi can be used as a USB dongle directly on a PC, but there is a software download required to interface and setup the modem features. So it may not work without that, plugged directly into a router with failover features.

We'll be releasing USB Mobile devices soon that will probably be more suitable :)

You can, however, slot the Afrihost/MTN SIM card into any 3G router/stick/whatever as long as it is compatible with the Billion.

According to the screenshot I see above it looks like the router is actually reading/accepting the 3G device.

There is probably an option somewhere in your dashboard - if you do come right share it with everyone unfortunately I don't have ADSL router that supports 3 G.

As @The_Librarian also mentioned go to the vendors website and see what routers/dongles/modems are compatible with that device. If it isn't supported you can always contact support and if there is enough demand they will add it*sometimes not always*

@FartyMarty normally you would have to dial up a connection to initiate handshake for data.

That is a standard number used by everyone in the MSP(Mobile Service Provider) worldwide.
