[Same problem, different day.
Top image is today with bad speeds, two bottom images are from the other day when the account was working as it should.
This happens on a random basis every working day - weekends seem to be mostly at full speed.

The only free Capped account I have is a 1GB capped with Afrihost, shall I try this?

I am not sure about anyone else, but the last 2 days were good on my end. Telkom seems to have had a ton of failures in exchanges/MSANs in Broadacres prior to the Eskom issues and my ADSL line was pretty much not functioning for most of the week last week.
There still seems to be some Telkom issues, but once the initial major faults where fixed and Telkom reset ports speed is back to what it was early September. No idea if VPN and other real-time services are stable as I am not tempting fate with all the loadshedding to work from home this week. Download rates are around 800KB/sec via HTTP on 10mbps though.
I think amongst all the load-shedding any positive feedback would be murky at best, as most people would not have internet access without power (especially with exchanges being down), so the few of us having access to Afrihost would perhaps see better performance.
@Afrihost: Out of interest, with all the loadshedding going on, have you noticed a drop in logged in sessions/traffic or is usage still the same?

Really awesome to hear that things are looking up!
We haven't seen any noticeable difference from our end, I think the areas being loadshed (is that the word?) aren't big enough to see a major difference on the network.
There have been rumours that Thursday/ Friday would be worse days in terms of loadshedding so we may see some dips in sessions then.

Looking much better, very strange that you're seeing slow speeds on Business.

I thought Business and Capped is basically the same?
I have a ticket going at the moment will update and see if the same happens again tonight , but same situation, capped works better on my connection than my business account

How is it that the Business Uncapped performs better in tests than the capped package but the capped package buffers less on 1080p on Youtube than the Business uncapped on 720p? 
Capped plays 720p Youtube videos with ease and buffers 1080p about every 6-9 seconds.
Business uncapped buffers 720p about every 2-5 seconds...?
Performance seems much better and especially consistent since after I posted about it here.
Two nights ago a had to watch videos on 144p
I can only play max 480p videos now.
I cannot think of anything else other than shaping?

Exact same question I've been asking for weeks. Still no clue why.
There shouldn't be any discrepancies, if there are though I'd like to have them looked at.
